Can You Really Learn to Sing Online? | Worldwide Vocal Coaching

by | May 14, 2024 | Self Expression & Confidence Building

For over two decades, I’ve dedicated my energy to conducting all my sessions privately in prestigious music studios across London. While these environments offer unparalleled resources, they often come with a price tag that can be prohibitive for many unsigned artists and beginner to intermediate singers. Though I continue to provide high end, in-person services in London, I recognise that they remain out of reach for many individuals.

My passion lies in working with semi-professional and beginner singers, as well as established professional artists. To meet their needs, I have begun to offer more accessible, bespoke online singing lessons.

Adapting to Each Singer’s Needs

Every singer’s journey is unique, and I tailor my sessions to reflect my clients’ desires and needs. Some may start with online lessons and find this format more suitable for their lifestyle, while others prefer a blend of in-person and online coaching. There is no “correct” way to train — it’s about what works for you.

We can always make it work.

A Unique Approach to Vocal Coaching

My approach goes beyond the average. I focus on dedicated individuals — those committed to creating time and space in their lives for their artistic expression to flourish.

I create a supportive environment where you can share anything related to your artistry and musicality via an online shared portal. I aim to be part of the “inner circle” with the clients I coach — creatively, emotionally, and artistically.

The Unexpected Connection of Online Work

Strangely, I often feel more connected to my clients online. We have regular sessions, and I take detailed notes that allow me to reflect on each person’s progress between sessions. By inviting you into my home space, we create a unique, personal bond.

The shared portal deepens that connection, and I’ve found the online format encourages even clearer focus on recording careers, songwriting goals, and artistic development.

It’s an unexpected but rewarding shift.

The Practical Benefits — Lessons Wherever You Are

Transitioning to online singing lessons has been transformative for both my business and my clients worldwide.

Professional singers have always trained remotely with their coaches while on tour, but weekly online lessons make high-level training accessible to everyone. I now work with clients in New York, Thailand, Africa, Australia, and more — and I’ve run masterclasses from Europe to L.A.

Anyone can now access high-quality vocal coaching from home, from a rehearsal space, or even between meetings at work.

The Biggest Breakthrough — Learning to Sing at Home

One of the greatest advantages of online lessons is this:
They help you learn to make sound where you actually live.

A lot of singers feel comfortable in a studio but struggle to vocalise at home. This must be addressed early. Practising at home — consistently — is essential to growth.

Online training empowers you to claim your space, strengthen your voice daily, and build habits that lead to real artistic expansion.

Better to confront this now, with support, than later when the stakes are higher.

“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it’s a feather bed.”   ― Terence McKenna
